Melvin Dickerson, 94, of Highland Heights, passed away on May 20, 2013. Capt. Dickerson retired after serving in the Air Force for 35 years. He served as a WWII pilot and served as flight instructor in Korea and Viet Nam. He was a 33rd degree Mason, retired from GE Evendale and a member of Newport Elks 273. Melvin is survived by his son, Paul Dickerson of Highland Heights, KY; brother, Art (Ann) Dickerson; Sister, Vivian Dickerson. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9:30AM - 10:00AM with the funeral starting at 10:00AM at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Everyone is invited back to Newport Elks 273 for a time of rememberance and refreshments. Memorials can be given to Alzheimer’s Association 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026. Cincinnati, OH 45203.
