Gus

Gus is a German Shorthaired Pointer. He was born in November of 2004 shortly after he was brought to live at the Alexandria Funeral Home. Gus has become a welcomed addition to the funeral home. We lovingly refer to him as our "Greeter" or "Welcoming Committee". He truly believes that everyone comes here to see him. If you live in the neighborhood then you have probably seen Gus out playing in the yard. We nearly lost Gus when he was hit by a car a few years ago, but with a lot of love and quite a few vet bills he is back to his old self. Gus is also a past ribbon winner at the Alexandria Fair.
